Provençal farmhouse set in 4 acres of landscaped grounds

Our house’s unique location makes it the perfect gateway to Provence: it stands a short, scenic drive from Isle sur la Sorgue, the town famous for its vibrant antique market, and an olive milling stone’s roll from the Luberon National Park and its array of authentic hilltop villages where time stands still.

We’ll tell you about the best hikes, picturesque roads winding through olive groves, historic and natural sites, all personally tried and tested. There are many ways to taste Provence; we will suggest bars where a glass of chilled rosé on a terrace overlooking Luberon is an experience and restaurants that serve simply delicious food made from locally grown ingredients.

Helping the Planet

Every year we invest in solutions that lower our carbon footprint and reduce the environmental impact of our activity.

Between 2019 and 2021 we implemented a full energy transition. Two heat pumps replaced the fuel-fired central heating. Water is now heated in two thermodynamic tanks. We have also installed 24 solar panels with a peak power output of 9 kW, which means +/- 60 kWh of electricity injected into our system on sunny days, enough to power the house, all appliances, air conditioning and the swimming pool: filtration and heat pump.

We went one step further in 2022 by swapping petrol for electric; our daily use vehicle is a fully electric one. 2 electric vehicle charging points have recently been installed, so that clients can charge their EVs using juice generated by the solar panels.

The only question being: what next?

Sophie & Uri

We met in London, fell in love and settled in Paris, Sophie’s native town. As is the case for many of us, corporate life had shown its tedious limitations and our children flew the nest.

Thus, we decided to put our hosting talents and culinary aspirations to the test; we chose to settle in Provence, where the weather suits our clothes.
