Gite La Bastide
Children of 12 and over are welcome.
A stone-clad staircase leads to the 2 air-conditioned bedrooms and the bathroom on the first floor.
Identical in size, both have an overhead fan and a window that opens onto the garden, one has a large double bed and the other two single beds.
There is a bakery in the village. We can deliver baguettes, croissants and bread every morning upon request.
Gite La Bastide is fully equipped for up to 6 guests. The adjacent Fantine B&B room communicates by a door in the first floor corridor and can be added to the basic rental capacity of 4.
Bed linen, bathroom and pool towels are provided.
End of stay cleaning is included. Broadband WiFi.
In detail
Open plan kitchen/living room
The spacious, air-conditioned living space has not much changed over the 2 centuries. Thick, exposed stone walls keep the room cool and the French ceiling with its original, white-washed beams and 3.20 m height adds to the traditional farm atmosphere.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a competition-size cooking range under the old, stone fireplace hood and a large central island ready to dice and slice local, market-fresh produce.
An old sink carved in Gard region stone with storage underneath, a dishwasher and an American fridge-freezer complete the setup.
There is a Provencal dining table for 6 and another, stone-clad private one just outside the kitchen window on the main terrace.
There is a sofa, coffee table and a bench in the living area.
Guests have access to our laundry room where you can wash and dry and listen to your favourite music while getting up to shape on the NordicTrack.
Master bedroom
A bright and airy, high-ceiling room with double bed (160 x 200) and a window that opens onto the garden.
Air conditioning and an overhead fan. There is a wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
French made LAMY bed linen.
Second bedroom
Identical in size and ceiling height. Air-conditioned, it also has an overhead fan.
It has 2 double beds that can be pushed together to form a large double bed (180 x 200).

Bathroom
Comfortable space with a window that opens up onto the garden, to the west. Clad in travertine and exposed stone, it has a WC, a walk-in shower and washbasin counter with a wall-mounted power socket. Hair dryer is stowed under the counter.
Towels, Provencal fragrance shower gel and soap are provided.
The terrace
The main, south-facing terrace is shared by all our guests. The lounge on the terrace can be used by every client staying at La Bastide des Amouriers.
However, the stone table on the terrace outside gite La Bastide is exclusively for the benefit of the gite’s occupants. The old plane tree provides a cool shade. There is also a large parasol to shield you from the intensity of summer rays.

The rules of La Bastide des Amouriers
• Important : do not arrive before 4 pm, in Provence siesta is an everyday ritual !
• Arrivals: between 4 and 7.30 pm only.
• Departures: before 10am
• Breakfast is served from 8h30 to 9h30 am on the main terrace or in the ground floor reception room, according to the weather.
• Let us know if you have any dietary restrictions before arrival.
• The heated swimming pool(15x5m) is unsurpervised. Its a peaceful space to be shared by all. The large wooden terrace provides privacy.
• La Bastide des Amouriers is an old house, unfortunately not adapted to wheelchairs.
• La Bastide des Amouriers is not suitable for children under 12 years old.
• Pets are not accepted.
