It is a shared space where guests are welcome to sit at one of the tables to enjoy a salad and a chilled glass of Ventoux rosé. You can wonder around and count the passing clouds. Our homegrown, organic tomatoes, figs and courgettes will give you a wink and a smile if you talk to them nicely. The flowers may sway with at the Mistral’s command. It is simply your Provencal garden.
The terrace of the Bastide is both a place to relax, drink a glass of chilled rosé, but also a meeting place for residents.
Our swimming pool is purposely located in the middle of the garden. Its form is loosely inspired by ornamental Provencal pools, with an original fronton and its Medusa that head spouts water from its mean mouth. It 15 x 5 metres and you can do your lengths at sunrise, before breakfast or take a welcome dip after a hard day of visiting dusty old hilltop villages. It’s heated and there is a really cool shower. The large, wood-decked terrace is a tranquil shared space where you can read, nap or simply ponder over your choice of restaurant for the evening.
